Laurie is Nova's Founder and CEO, she brings a diverse background in both operations and finance from her 30+ year career. During her 16 years in Industry, Laurie held numerous executive management positions in sales support, shared services, operations, program management and finance. At the peak of her career in Industry, Laurie managed ~800 full time personnel. Leading a Finance Transformation Consulting company for the last 19 years, Laurie brings her real world experience to the table and as a result has become a trusted advisor to executives. Her success at Nova stemmed from the fact she knows what it feels like to be the employee who owns a large scale Consulting initiative, it makes or breaks careers. Her strong interpersonal skills and relatability are often leveraged to build a shared vision among senior leadership. She excels at helping management translate their vision into tangible action. Industries served include Telecommunications, Manufacturing, Automotive, Food, Healthcare, Energy, & Hospitality.

Company Founder:  Co-founder and managing Director of a Finance Transformation consultancy formed in 2007, became sole owner and operator in 2014. Founded a startup focused on OneStream Implementations in 2018, Nova CPM. Nova CPM grew to a top 15 implementation partner out of over 200 partners and was successfully sold to Private Equity in 2023.
Start up profitable from first year to current financials with no corporate debt

Transformation: Established several multi-year transformation programs through strategic sessions with C-level management at a broad range of Fortune 25-500 companies. Participated in establishing and leading tactical roadmap as part of core leadership team. Coordinated activities amongst several tier 1 consulting and audit firms along with smaller boutique firms. Several Transformation projects also included an on-going active role leading a specific work stream such as;

Global Program Management: Led communications and program management work streams for two of the largest Fortune 200 restatements/re-audits in the United States (MCI and Navistar). Both programs spanned multiple years and cost hundreds of millions of dollars with tight deadlines, extreme working conditions, regulatory agency oversight and multiple disparate consulting and legal firms, often with conflicting approaches.
Developed and led complex communications and training programs
Led hiring process for 500 employees in 3 months and on-boarded 1,000 consultants
Digitized over 4 million records and was operational custodian for executive records under subpoena
Developed and led process to post over 500,000 correcting journal entries
Shared Services: Operations Executive for a $1.5 Billion dollar division of a Fortune 25 company.
Restructured and managed several divisions including sales support, planning & forecasting, credit & collections, accounting, and project management with direct management of approximately 800 full time employees
Consistently overachieved revenue and margin based quota; 118%, 164% and 105% for three consecutive years
Managed team supporting 2.3 million new customer installations in less than two years while still exceeding service level agreements with sales (300% year over year growth)
Restructured and consolidated seven support locations into three, resulting in an efficient and scalable business unit
Improved productivity by 25% with implementation of objective based compensation plans and motivational tools
Revamped fulfillment process resulting in 99% on time delivery for 120,000 phones per month
